Senior Auditor (revenue management or commerce/sales control) - Brewer


Job description

As a Senior Auditor you will work in a young, ambitious and dynamic team and report to one of the Global Audit Managers. Your focus will be the Heineken business in the Europe and Africa and Middle East, Eastern Europe regions. In addition, you may be involved in audits in other regions and global functions, as you will be a part of an international team. You will be based in Amsterdam and travelling up to 50% of the time.

As a Senior Auditor, you shall build relationships with business management and local internal auditors, supporting them with risk awareness and acting as an important sparring partner.

You will be responsible for developing, planning and performing audit programs on a wide range of audit subjects. You will recommend practical improvements, to increase efficiency and effectiveness of processes and controls and mitigate risks.

In this role you will:

  • Prepare audit work programs and plans, based on a risk based approach;
  • Conduct interviews, test and evaluate business documents as part of audit execution;
  • Evaluate and assess risks of examined internal controls in the areas audited;
  • Prepare formal written reports and presentations in the English language;
  • Present the audit conclusions and recommendations to senior management;
  • Prepare consolidated summary reports on Regional and Global level;
  • Review and support others to ensure that audits are completed to required quality levels;
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including Operating Companies, Business Management, Region, Global and Internal Audit;
  • Contribute to the overall level of information security within Heineken;
  • Develop methodologies and tools for Global Audit to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Your profile

The ideal candidate has:

  • A finalised WO/Master study;
  • At least 5 years of operational experience in an international company. Audit experience is a definite advantage;
  • Preferably experience in revenue management or commerce/sales controller area;
  • Fluency in English (essential);
  • Functional competencies: Strong communication skills, able to communicate at all levels of the business, Risk Assessment, Professional Scepticism, Business Understanding, Analysis and Insight.
