Job description

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth and revenue in Utilus BV by identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with Clients, developing and executing strategic sales plans. You will collaborate closely with our team of consultants and experts to understand Client needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans that align with company goals and objectives
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, networking and market research
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring profitability for the company
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business development strategy and identify new growth opportunities
  • Attend industry events and conferences to build relationships and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market insights to senior management
  • Continuously improve sales processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with Director of Operations, pathfinding consultants to develop and present proposals, including project scope, timelines, and budget

Requirements

  • You have a Client-centered mentality and care about building relations first, not selling for the sake of selling
  • You are passionate about finding opportunities and solving problems
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and you know how to find the right way to talk to all levels management and identify their problem
  • You are curious by nature and are not tired to ask 5 times WHY? to identify your Client's needs
  • You have strong analytical skills and you are able to speak the language of numbers
  • You have experience in acquisition and stakeholder management with clients with 50-100 M profit
  • You may show a proven success in sales and business development, with a track record of achieving sales targets
  • You have strong networking skills, with a well-established network in the B2B tech industry
  • You have excellent presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • You have a proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
