Manager Corporate Accounting - Dairy

Do you have a solid background in accounting and would you like to make a step into the business? Do you have experience with IFRS and affinity with FMCG. For one of the world's largest dairy companies we're looking for a Manager Corporate Accounting who can set priorities and assess the importance of issues in main and secondary issues. As a Manager Corporate Accounting you're an effective professional who can not only listen carefully and ask questions, but can also say no if necessary. An inspiring team player like you can collaborate constructively with the other (Corporate) departments and Finance Directors of the operating companies. In this role, through the many interactions with other disciplines, you will better understand the operations of the company, allowing you to make a next step in your career within the company.

In the role of Manager Corporate Accounting:

• You are responsible for various accounting issues relating to the entire organization, for example support in purchase price allocation of acquisition, goodwill impairment analyses and other complex IFRS issues;
• You are responsible for the accounting policies;
• You monitor that the semi-annual report and the annual report meet all IFRS requirements;
• You maintain the relationship with the external auditors;
• You are actively involved in the preparation of presentations to the Executive Board, Audit Committee, Supervisory Board and the Member council;
• You participate in financial projects within your own department, but also with other departments such as Tax, Treasury, Controlling and Mergers & Acquisitions;
• You are actively involved in the implementation of new accounting standards, such as IFRS 16 Lease accounting;
• You are involved in the preparation and presentation of IFRS training courses.

Corporate Accounting consists of a group of 3 specialist in a team of 14 people from Corporate Accounting & Reporting.

In addition to the above mentioned experience and capabilities, you have/are:

• University degree in the field of Business Economics/Accountancy with a completed education to registered accountant (RA/CPA/CA/ACCA);
• Minimum 5 years work experience at one of the big 4 accounting firms or relevant work experience in a multinational corporate environment;
• IFRS knowledge and experience is absolutely required, extensive experience with the application of complex IFRS & accounting regulations on business issues is a pré;
• Result-oriented, analytical and pro-active;
• Open, convincing, constructive and organization-intensive;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Dutch (pré).
