Summary

Nutreco Group Internal Audit is looking for a Group IT Auditor with strong knowledge of, and affinity with, IT (security) assessments to strengthen an ambitious (IT) audit team.

Job description

Key responsibilities:

Design and execute the IT Audit plan.

  • Participate in the development and maintenance of the IT Audit plan;
  • Align scope, timing, methodologies with business stakeholders;
  • Execute engagements according to high quality standards;
  • Clearly report on observations and provide actionable recommendations;
  • Help the business in defining their action plans;
  • Monitor action plan progress and provide help where needed.

Assist in non-IT Audit and Advisory engagements.

  • Participate in business audits under management of a business audit manager (e.g. entity reviews, process audits, due diligence);
  • Participate in a quality assurance or quality control role for larger business transformation projects.

Drive improvement.

  • Assist in further developing D&A, Process Mining and RPA capabilities;
  • Assist in further developing control automation (continuous auditing) capabilities;
  • Assist in further developing dynamic reporting capabilities (e.g. PowerBI).

Manage stakeholders.

  • Align with global and local stakeholders (such as IT management, security management, process owners, project managers, centres of excellence) and identify risks and opportunities as input to the agile audit plan;
  • Translate IT-related risks into business risks and vice versa into control measures;
  • Communicate on multiple levels of the organization: from operational to strategic.

Contribute to departmental quality.

  • Maintain high quality standards in planning, execution, documentation and reporting of engagements;
  • Assist as quality control partner/peer reviewer for other engagements;
  • Be(come) a TeamMate (audit management software) power user.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree preferred, supplemented with relevant audit or subject matter education and certification (e.g.: RE, CISSP, CISA);
  • Approx. 5 years IT audit experience, preferably acquired within one of the Big 4 Audit Firms or international companies;
  • Good understanding and knowledge of IT processes, related risks, controls, standards, laws & legislation (e.g. GDPR) and industry good practices;
  • Contextual understanding of financial and operational processes valued;
  • Specialist knowledge (e.g. SAP, Navision, Oracle, AD, SQL, Python, Linux) valued;
  • Fluent in English (both verbally and in writing). Other language proficiencies a bonus;
  • Envisioned at Nutreco Head Office in Amersfoort, The Netherlands. Willing and able to travel when necessary (15-25%).
